Product Description
Padded gambeson or aketon for use with heavy armoured combat. Wear it on its own or under as the perfect under garment with your minimum protection or chainmail and plate. This gambeson is extra thick for hard hitting combat combat and is worn like a jacket. Well suited for WMA (Western Martial Arts) and HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts).
Approximately 20mm thick. Compresses to 10mm

Well Made What it says on the tin.

Well padded, well made and the buckles are decently easy to do up.
I dyed this Jacket a light blue and its taken the dye well, its quite beautiful. The thread didn't take the dye (either synthetic or waxed), so be aware if you are going to dye this, you'll need to maille grease the thread lines so they don't show bright white.
