Product Description

Our Roman Officers Helmet features a lovely full cream hair plume and is hand crafted in steel &brass.

This helmet replica is formed from 18 gauge steel to match the originals. It includes hooks for cheek straps and webbing so its ready to wear (with a little padding).
The formidably tough Roman Legionnaire marched triumphantly from the cold mists of England to the hot, dry plains of the mid-East relying on a helmet for head protection.

It is speculated that the plume whilst magnificent was impractical on a day-to-day basis and therefore used mainly only for parade.

This helmet is full size and wearable and is a great addition to any collection.
