Long Crusader Gambeson
Product Description
Padded gambeson for use on its own or under chainmail and plate. This gambeson is light-weight and slips easily over the head. Complete coverage around throat is achieved using an overlapping leather tie. See extra photos for details. Approximately 8mm thick.

Shoulder to thigh length - 90cm (32.25 inches)
Chest - 108cm (42.5 inches)

Sleeves (armpit to cuff) - 44.5cm (17.5 inches)
Shoulder to thigh length - 100cm (39.5 inches)
Chest - 120cm (47.25 inches)
Weight: 1.55kg
When measuring sleeve length it is important to measure from roughly 10cm below the armpit. This is because the sleeve shoulder is designed to be loose and not tight.

Simple Gambeson to wear 1 tie to do it up with, Not to thick which is good in hotter climates, looks great! authentic and light weight.

Simple, effective, tough.
This is comfy to wear and certainly takes the edge of maille biting into ones neck and shoulders, and it looks period.
Though it is thinner than some of the other gambesons, it gets the balance right between thickness and flexability. Though one should take safety procautions into acount, i.e. You'll want vambraces :P
I, for one, am going to put some snazzy patterns on the edging so that it has that 'just exposed' padding look that you see in manuscripts :D
