This leather brigandine has 5mm thick leather plates on a 4mm leather surface shaped to fit the chest. Back section also included. Has a built in collar guard, which can be lined or removed. It is reasonably strong overall and has a handsome look. Only available in black and features sturdy buckles and straps.

A brigandine is a form of body armour from the Middle Ages. It is a cloth garment, generally canvas or leather, lined with oblong plates riveted to the fabric. The form of the brigandine is essentially the same as the civilian doublet, though it is commonly sleeveless.
