Simple Buckler
	A buckler is a small shield that is gripped in the fist. It was generally used as a companion weapon in hand-to-hand combat during the Middle Ages, as its size made it poor protection against missile weapons, such as arrows, but useful in deflecting the blow of an opponent's sword or mace. Roman Scutum
	Scutum is the Latin word for "shield", although it has in modern times come to be specifically associated with the rectangular, semi-cylindrical body shield carried by ancient Roman legionaries. The shield's curved shape covered the wielder's front and sides, affording excellent protection.  This shield is made predominantly out of wood with additional wooden back bracing for added strength. Violin or Dipylon shield
	Similar in shape to the Persian gerrhon and Boeotian shields. Made of polished dark-drown leather with a shape similar to a violin, hence the modern name for this shield design.
